How right you are, my wife has a whole closet dedicated to shoes and still when we go out and she sees a pair of shoes, that's it I know by the look in her eyes that she is going to buy them. I bust up laughing, its funny to see the shoe radar implanted in her brain. Sorry to get off topic folks but just had to share.

My first ex-wife left behind 40 pair when she moved out, I tried to return them, she said "Toss em out, I'll buy new ones." Gee, I really miss her.

I doesn't cost me anything, because I don't use opiates.

My friend will spend about 75-150 dollars very 2-3 months. So his monthly average would be 25-75 dollars a month. He thought his habit was bad at 1 or 2 "00" pills of putty a day. He makes a big batch of tea extract and pills it up. He'll make a batch once every 2 or 3 months. Considering that my friend was spending at least 150 to 400 dollars a month on pot, he really didn't think it was such a big deal spending at most 75 bucks a month on opiates.

Growing and manufacturing his own recreational/medicinal drugs would indeed save him a lot of money. My other friend spends about $130 a month on electricity and no more than $100 a month on supplies and she gets as much high-grade pot as she can smoke. She has tried to grow poppies, but she can't grow as much as she uses.

I saw Imelda Marcos

A few weeks ago , no sleep in 60 hours and a very large cuppa in my tummy; I saw Imelda Marcos as well!

She was riding an Heffalump and trying to squash kittens that seemed to be everywhere. Splat! Clomp, clomp, clomp, splat! The Heffalump was just shuffling around, not even actively attempting to pop the kitties like grapes. But the kittens were all over the place and Imelda was steering by pulling on the poor Heffalumps huge, floppy, ears.

I freaked out more than a little as I love kitties! Just as I started to look for her shoes so I could control her I snapped out of it.

As far as the topic of the thread goes; just under $100/month. And that in spite of her being what most would consider a heavy user. She gets 1,000 or more tennis ball sized pods at a pop. Then spends better than a week de-stemming, de-seeding, smashing, and grinding. The resultant powder is sealed up in dozens of mason jars.

About a year ago I voted 200 and more, fortunately last harvest was good (it could always be better) and now it seem that there is no need to pay single $ till the end of june when I should have first pods again. I was trying every year to reach this level, to have enough for me all year long and an extra cup every second day or so. It took me four years, I can't say how happy I am....

He says he spends around 200 per month on alcohol, hasn't been spending on much anything else. When his neck gets hurting too much his good friend will hook him up with some 10's. He's stretched 50 pods for several months now only brewing on rainy Sundays. He shot his little monkey, but he's been letting the genie out of the bottle too much.

I don't even measure my costs per use. When I run out, I order more, usually $40-$50 worth.

Now that I think about it, I've only ordered twice. My initial order was $50 for 40 mediums. That was last fall, and I'm just now finishing that batch... I guess I really am a chipper. I have my next batch waiting for when I run out.

Keep in mind, I also alternate with Kratom, and if I guess right I've spent about $100 on that in the past year.

Plus I didn't do any arranging of any kind for the entire summer.

Oh, used to spend A LOT on alcohol per month. Probably well over $200, buying for home everyday and going out drinking all the time. Used to do other things as well that I don't DARE think about doing with my new and improved heart.

Heart surgery sucks people, take care of that thing!
Obviosly the Atenolol and Warfarin are for things other than my Chronic Pain.

So its not all that bad. I never added it up before. It just always seems like I'm running out of something and going to the pharmacy all the damn time!

When I got home from my open heart surgery, I had a line of pill bottles across my kitchen counter like I've never seen before. It was crazy!

I happened to arrange the last pod in the box in my garage just the other day. The order was from February, for two 6 oz bunches (about 25-30 pods). So I could amortize ca. US$35 over eight months.
